4 Steps To Practice Chakra Meditation

Chakra Meditation Header

Our Chakras are generally thought of as our lifeline and connection to our spiritual and energetic bodies.

They also act as a gateway to other realms and planes of existence.

When these Chakras are blocked, disfigured, or spinning in the wrong way, physical symptoms manifest as a result.

However, we often find ourselves treating the symptom...

...instead of the actual problem at hand.

It's the equivalent of taking pain medication for throbbing shoulder pain.

It helps in the short run, but does nothing to address the actual root of the issue, which could be emotional, physical, or even spiritual.

One of the biggest problems I often see people for is the status of their Chakra Line.

For many people, the imbalance or blockages in their Chakra are what cause their problems.

Keeping the Chakras in balance and top condition is what separates those who are truly happy and those who continue to suffer.

It is therefore imperative that you learn how to heal your Chakras to ascend to a higher state of being.

But how can you do so when there are so many methods?

One of my favorite ways to heal the Chakras is through specific Chakra Medititation...

...and in this article, I'll explain how to engage in this practice step-by-step so that you don't feel lost along the way.

However...

...if you want the quickest solution towards healing your Chakras (hint: you may not even know a problem exists), then I highly suggest listening to my Guided Healing Sessions.

The Chakras

Now, while there are many, many Chakras out there (many like to debate this subject), I'd like to clarify that I am only focusing on the 7 main Chakras.

These Chakras form what we now define as the Chakra Line.

It is from here that all other Chakras are connected - you can think of it like the trunk of the tree with its many branches and leaves.

In many healing arts, practices, and cultures, these 7 Chakras are the lifeforce that give us energy and connect us to our sense of reality.

Without these Chakras, we wouldn't be here...

...or at the very least, our sense of reality would be extremely distorted.

To heal these Chakras, one can engage in a variety of different practices.

As a Reiki Master, I would recommend Reiki to anyone who wants to engage in one of the most sound healing practices on the planet.

However, many other practices exist that you can learn from as well and combine with Reiki.

Examples include healing sciences like Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Classical Yoga, etc.

All of these will teach you how the Chakras react and act together...more specifically, they'll teach you how to heal them when things go bad.

Between all of these different practices though, there seems to be one thing that interlocks them all together...

...you can think of it as the pillar for all these disciplines...

and that is meditation.

Chakra Meditation

Meditation allows us to clear our mind and help us reach a sense of peace and gratitude.

But it also channels energy directly into your Chakra Line and seeps its healing energy deep into our energetic and spiritual bodies.

Many people report feeling at ease after engaging in such meditation practices, as they are rejuvenated and cleansed of the impurities of stress and negativity.

So how do you begin to practice this?

Below I list the 4 steps you need to take in order to engage in Chakra Meditation.

Take the steps slowly and review them - this is not something that you want to rush!

Step 1: Identify The Chakras That Are Hurting

The first step is to figure out which Chakras are in most need.

Our Chakras are like little animals that need to be taken care of.

If you don't feed them the proper nutrition or attention, they can begin to withir or warp.

To see which ones need the most attention, simply clasp your hands together and slowly bring them closer to each of the Chakra points on your body.

When you feel your hands get slightly colder, that could be a sign that whichever Chakra you are hovering over is in need.

Another great way of detecting which Chakras need help is by truly understanding which Chakra is associated with which emotion.

Remember that Chakras are the gateway for our spiritual and emotional bodies...

...if we understand which gate leads to which path, then we can understand ourselves more as a result.

For example, if you've been feeling hot-headed lately, it could be something to do with your Warrior Energy.

If you've been feeling as though you are empty, your Solar Plexus Chakra may be in need.

Take the time to educate yourself and read the signs of your body.

You probably know more than you think you do!

Step 2: Make The Time To Meditate

You wouldn't believe how many people talk to me about Chakra Meditation...

...and yet, when I tell them to practice, they say to me, "I'm too busy..."

Well, no wonder why you're hurting - you haven't made the time to even pay attention to yourself!

Think of your relationship to your Chakras like a romantic one.

Have you ever liked it when someone neglected you? Probably not!

Your Chakras are in need of attention, and it's imperative that you make time for them.

Otherwise, they'll suffer as a result.

So take the time to schedule time to meditate, either on your calendar or somewhere that you can remember.

Defend that time as if you were making an appointment with someone else and fully use that time to rejuvenate yourself.

Next, we'll cover the most important part of Chakra Meditation...the meditation itself!

Step 3: Begin Meditating

To begin meditating, one does not need to make it complicated.

You don't need to buy bells or gongs or anything outside of yourself...

...you are more than capable of meditating with just your breath.

However, if these tools help you (as they do with me) then by all means, use them to engage with yourself as best as you can.

Everyone's way of meditating is a bit different, so you need to experiment and see what works for you.

Here's an example meditation that you can use to engage the Chakras and spend some time healing:

First, begin by sitting down comfortably in a cross-legged position.

Rest your back against a wall or something flat.

Breathe in with your nose, and breathe out lightly through your mouth.

You should not hear your breath escape your lips - breath as if you were completely still.

As you inhale, say to yourself, "I am present."

And as you exhale, say to yourself, "I am here."

Repeat this for 7 minutes, one minute for each Chakra.

As the 7 minutes finishes up, make sure to end it by saying, "I am enough."

This helps to reaffirm that you are capable of all that you set out to do, including Chakra Meditation.

Now, don't miss this last step or else you won't see the benefit...

Step 4: Seal the Meditation

Once you finish the meditation, seal it with your intention.

Your intention is otherwise known as your Purpose - what is your Purpose for meditation?

For many people, it is to simply heal their Chakras, and this is more than enough.

Place your hands together in prayer position and simply say, "I seal this meditation with the intent of healing my Chakras."

You can pinpoint which Chakra(s) you were trying to heal or simply leave it at that.

If you forget to seal, don't beat yourself up over it.

Simply do it when you remember - but try to do it immediately after finishing, as you will feel a more powerful effect!

These are the 4 steps you need to take to begin Chakra Meditation.

Once you are done with these 4 steps, repeat them as necessary to facilitate any healing that you need.
