Daily Exercises For Your Chakras

Daily Exercises Header

One of the easiest things you can do to maintain the health and balance of your Chakras is to tend to them everyday.

Now, you might be thinking to yourself, "how is that easy?!"

Daily work can seem difficult...but it is worth the effort.

If you neglect your Chakras or forget to do energy work for a day or two, you'll probably be okay.

But if you don't do it for weeks or months or even years at a time...that's a cause for trouble.

Some people will say, "but I do just fine without it - why do I need to do it everyday?"

It's likely that you've done well despite the neglect, not because of it.

And if you prolong it for too long...the consequences can be great.

You put yourself at risk for so many health diseases and emotional challenges that you don't need to put yourself through.

In fact, your neglect for your Chakras might be the reason why your health isn't as good as it should be.

"Okay, okay, I get it - now how do I actually go about and do these exercises? Is it the same as healing?"

Not quite.

Healing takes place when your energy is compromised in some way.

It can be damaged, stolen, broken, unbalanced, or blocked - it can even be a mix of all of these combined.

However, doing these daily exercises is not the same thing as healing - it's strengthening.

You see, if you only heal back to a 'no-pain' level, that's a good goal. But you can be so much more!

That's why I always emphasize to my students, "make strengthening your energy your goal."

If you don't, you miss out on a lot of potential opportunity...

...you essentially rob yourself before you even have anything!

So don't stop at where you're at - keep going.

In this blog post, I'm going to share several exercises that I personally recommend you to do to both maintain and strengthen the health of your Chakras.

Doing so will enable you to go beyond who you think you are...and ascend towards the person you were meant to become.

Open The Energy

Opening your energy will build both your tolerance and capacity for energy work.

If you operate from a limited capacity...you won't get very far. However, if you can improve this, you'll be able to do so much more.

The bad news is that most people don't do this...so they never experience what it's like to be someone better than where they are.

The good news is that by reading this, you have a chance to make this change and see a real difference in your life.

One of the best exercises to open up your energy is a Reiki classic.

It was a technique that was pioneered by Dr. Usui himself in Japan.

Now, there are a few translations of this technique, but I call it, "The Feather's Blossom."

To do this technique, you need a bit of physical awareness. If you can, video yourself to see if you're doing this correctly.

If you're unable to, do the best that you can and really try to feel the motion.

Start by laying down, either on the floor or on your bed.

Now spread your arms perpendicular to your body as if you were making a t-shape.

Tuck your knees in together as if you're doing a cannonball in the pool, and bring your knees as close to your chest as possible.

Without letting your shoulders off of the ground, let your knees fall to the left and to the right.

Try not to think of this as a workout - it's much more of a priming exercise for your lower Chakras.

The biggest mistake I see when I introduce this exercise to people is that their shoulders lift off of the ground because they want to touch their knees to the ground.

Don't do this. Only go as far as you can without your shoulders moving up or down.

Breathe outward as you switch from left to right and inhale inwards once you have completed each half-turn.

Repeat this motion for about 5-10 minutes or until you feel comfortable.

Next, you're going to straighten your legs out (away from your body) and back in.

You may feel some pressure on the lower abdomen here, but it is a positive pressure that is trying to open up your Chakras.

Repeat this motion for 30 seconds before relaxing and continuing again.

You might break a litle sweat here due to the opening nature of the exercise.

Make sure to have a towel or something similar nearby to dry yourself once you are finished.

Next, we'll work on the upper or higher Chakras...

Flowing Upwards

Now that you have opened up your energy from the lower Chakras, it's time to send this energy up through the higher or upper Chakras.

To do this, remember the basic principle of Chakra flow...

...it all begins from our Root Chakra. From here, it moves on up our Chakra Line and out of our Crown Chakra into the many realms that exist.

Of course, you can do these exercises in the reverse order as well, but I prefer to go with how our nature was set up.

To do this exercise, you'll need a wall and a good sense of balance.

After completing The Feather's Blossom, you'll want to stand up close against a wall.

Leave about 3-6 inches of space between you and the wall.

Starting from your rib cage, try to touch your belly button to the wall without moving a step.

If the wall is too far or too close, simply move until it is difficult, but still within reach.

After this, hold the position for about 10 seconds or so.

Next, use your chest and touch it to the wall for about 15 seconds or so.

Then, use your chin to touch the wall and hold it for about 10 seconds .

Lastly, use your forehead to touch the wall and hold it for about 5 seconds.

Repeat this over and over again until the motion becomes very smooth.

You'll want it to feel like you're a wave...and that the energy is pushing you upwards towards the sky.

As you become more adept at this particular exercise, you'll notice that your health will improve.

Do this for about 10-15 minutes total each and everyday, and you''lll see some great results.

After doing these exercises, you may still want more.
