Reiki is often used as a healing art and practice.

But did you know that it can also help with losing weight?

In this article, I'm going to cover how Reiki can help you shed the pounds...and keep them off.

It's a great supplement to your current health needs and can even give you the accelerated boost you need!

But first, as a primer, let's cover how Reiki works for our body system.

Even if you're an advanced practitioner, this can be a great refresher.

Remember that Reiki works through directing Universal Energy to the Chakra centers...

Chakra & Energy Flow

Now, if you're unfamiliar with the Chakras, let's do a quick runthrough of what they are.

Your Chakras are energy vortices that channel energy in and out of your body.

They have a front and back and are usually denoted with colors.

Some people point out that we have multiple Chakras in our body, but this can be simplified to seven Chakras.

The other Chakras of the body are also important, but the entire Chakra system can be understood through these seven.

The seven main chakras are the:

  • Crown
  • Third Eye
  • Throat
  • Heart
  • Solar Plexus
  • Sacral
  • and the Root

When one chakra is blocked due to illness or injury, it may affect the others and cause additional problems.

In the context of weight, remember that an accumulation or excess of stagnant energy can be turned into fat stores.

Light as a feather

This accumulates over time due to a variety of factors, including your nutrition, how much you move, and mental health.

When your Chakras are compromised, you're suffering from either too much or too little of these things.

Reiki helps restore this balance so that you can work on everything else that will propel you forward.

In this article, we'll cover how these three factors (your nutrition, movement practices, and mental health) can be changed with Reiki...and subsequently lead you to a healthier life.

In other words, if you have healthier Chakras, you're more likely to shed the weight simply by balancing your energy.

So where do we begin? 

Let's start with your nutrition...

Nutrition

By nutrition, I don't just mean physical or chemical. I'm also referring to energetic and spiritual.

Many people forget that nutrition encompasses all of these aspects - if you segregate them, you will live a segregated life.

People who are trying to lose weight know that they need to eat healthier...

...but forget that 'healthier' also means spiritually or energetically nutritious food.

Examples of these foods can be referenced in this article here.

To make sure that your food has the right ratio of energy, you can bless your food with Reiki.

To bless your food with Reiki, you can use the Reiki Symbols to channel Universal Energy into them.

I find that when I do this, the food even tastes healthier too.

You can use any of the Reiki Symbols, although I find that the Cho Ku Rei is quite powerful in this regard.

Experiment to see what works best with your own personal energy.

As always, eat organic foods that aren't filled to the brim with pesticides or artificial material.

If you eat meat, I recommend eating pasture-raised animals.

Even if its more expensive, this will save you costs in the long run from eating spiritually tainted meat. You never know how these animals are being slaughtered or killed.

As a result, you get the carryover effect from these animals who may have been depressed during their life.

This depressive energy sinks into every part of their system...and you end up eating them.

So my advice is to eat as little of meat as you can and find sustenance in plants. 

However, if you live in a food dessert, this can be quite difficult. Use your own judgment and recommendations to decide what is best for you.

Identify if You Are Eating the Right Foods

The first, and most imperative thing to do is to take a look through your kitchen and determine whether or not you are eating foods what will nourish your body with positive balanced energy.

Most people skip this step because there's an uncomfortable truth here.

This may come to a surprise...

...but most people cannot identify where their food comes from beyond the grocery store.

They have no idea what has been put in their food, where it comes from, what they did to the food before it got to the store, etc.

The good news is it's really simple to choose foods that contain positive energies...

I wrote an entire article about this topic a while back.  It's called "How to Lose 20 lbs of Fat... Just by Eating Positive Energy Foods".

You absolutely need to make sure you're eating the correct foods - if you don't, you risk eating harmful pesticides or foods that are cosmetically enhanced with low nutritional value.

These additives interfere with the food's natural energetic system and cause them to warp and depreciate in energetic value.

Remember that your body only understands to digest and intake whatever you give it - so if you give the food energetically warped foods...

This leeches into your health and causes your energetic field to begin warping as well.

You'll start feeling lethargic, fatigued, and wonder what's happening when you're doing everything else right.

Once you've identified where your food comes from, do some research into where the food was specifically grown or raised.

Whether the food is good or not depends on where it is grown.

Typically speaking, food grown or raised on megafarms is raised for profit, not for nutrition.

There are several cases where this is different, but make sure to do the proper research on the farm(s) where your food comes from.

The insight you gain could be alarming...or relieving.

After you've clearly identified where your local grocer receives their food, it's time to move on to the next crucial step.

It's time to separate the bad from the good.

Here are just a couple quick things to look at to get you started in the right direction: 

  • Whether the food is truly grown/raised organically
  • The seasons

Next, we'll cover your movement...and how this relates to your weight loss.

Your Movement

Many people forget that your Chakras are always moving.

In fact, they have to - in order to siphon energy from the Universe, they need to spin.

If they're stuck or clogged...this motion is blocked.

This is what leads to stagnant energy accumulating in the system.

So one of the first priorities is to move more. 

You don't necessarily need to exercise or go to the gym, but your body needs to move more than it does stay still.

This will help naturally evacuate the Chakras of their stagnant energy and get you back into balance.

Using Reiki can help you do this by lowering the "activation energy" required to move.

The activation energy is the energy it takes to start a task.

If your energy is already low, how can you even begin?
