Want to write articles to publish on ReikiInfiniteHealer.com?

If you're interested in writing for us, here's what you need to know...

As a guest blogger for Reiki Infinite Healer, you will get your own bio page on ReikiInfiniteHealer.com that may include links to your own website and/or social profiles. Our site gets over a million visits per year, so this is a great way to make a name for yourself and get traffic to your site...

We accept writing on topics related to healing, spirituality, and metaphysics. Articles can be on Reiki, but they don't have to be.

If you’re thinking of a blog post for this site, the checklist is below. We highly encourage you to use it precisely as a checklist.

Required

Agree to the guest writer agreement.

It’s based on Mashable’s standard agreement, and it’s a requirement for our liability insurance. Please download a pdf version here before you get started. We can’t run anything without you agreeing to it. Email us a copy of the agreement in pdf format, along with a statement that you agree to it's terms.

Substantive posts and original content.

An article that feels too short, or that lacks depth, will be sent back. Aim for no less than 1,500.

Dive deep into the topic and treat the post as seriously as you would a full-page Op-Ed for The New York Times . It’s easier to cut the unnecessary stuff than it is to figure out what’s missing. When possible, back up what you’re saying with research or stories, as well as data taken from your own experiences.

Be SPECIFIC and get into exact details.

If you're unwilling or unable to provide really specific, detailed articles, this blog is probably not a good fit.

IMPORTANT: Send us a few topic ideas before drafting anything.

Before you write a post, email us 3-5 of your best topic ideas based on all the above points. If you draft something without our thumbs up, we can’t help if we then reject it as unsuitable!

When in doubt, link it out.

Our readers come to us for ease-of-use and resources. So, if you write, “I learned about the book The Power of Now from a friend,” you should link out to what we bolded. Make it easy for readers to dig deeper!

Readers care about your story, of course, but they also need to learn specific lessons from your post. Give next steps the readers can take.

Create quality “evergreen” content.

All of the posts written for this blog should be just as relevant, if not more relevant, five years from now. No matter what year your post is read, the content should always be relevant so people will tell their friends about it.

– Please send us the post in Google doc format.

– Make sure section headings are consistent.

– Email us any images as attachments, just in case we need to access them or tweak something.

Remember and accept that we have final editorial call.

This means that we might want to delete or rework sections entirely. If you’re not OK with us freely editing your stuff (mostly for clarity and format), our site isn’t the right place for your piece. For what it’s worth, most writers enjoy our edits and appreciate them. We do the least necessary, not the most possible.

Have fun with it!

If it’s not fun for you to write on some level, it won’t be fun for our readers to read. Tell stories, crack jokes if you like, and be yourself. Try and enjoy the process and the end product will be better.

Lists work.

Post can be very easy to read if they're in list structure. One type of list we like to use is a list of steps. You don’t have to use lists, but they are effective.

Media works.

Having pictures and/or video can provide a richer reading experience, assuming the pics/videos are high quality.

You’ll notice we have images in all our posts. It helps things to provide pictures or find some on Unsplash.com or Pixabay.com.
