The Power of Manifestations
Life is an extremely difficult journey.
You can seemingly make all of the right decisions...
...only to have nothing come your way.
You work your job, do it well, come home and make a great dinner only to realize that you're unsatisfied with the way that you're currently living.
This isn't all that you are meant to do. You are meant for so much more.
If you've had this feeling inside you for a while, you know exactly what I'm referring to - it's the feeling that deep down in your gut, your destiny is calling out for you.
However, you don't know exactly how to get there or where 'there' even is!
All you know is that you have a feeling in your body that tells you that something needs to change...
...and it needs to change, quick!
Contrary to popular belief, this isn't some random event. It's not even a coincidence...and you shouldn't ignore it.
This feeling is your inner nature calling out for you to make a difference.
It's your innermost desires waiting to be actualized.
And there's one simple tool that you can use to help these dreams become realities.
This tool is so powerful that it is no longer a tool - it is a law that governs what we do and how we think.
This Law of Manifestation, believe it or not, happens every single day, whether you like it or not.
You see, each and everyday...
...whether we want the events in our life to manifest or happen as a result of the actions and behaviors we engage in...
Our lives continue anyway.
Think about it - when was the last time something big ever happened to you passively?
Chances are that someone or something pushed you or moved you in that direction...
And it seemed as if you had no say in the matter.
However, as you might already be able to tell, this narrative that you tell yourself is absolutely false.
That thing that's been holding you back?
It actually hasn't been holding you back.
That new car or new job that you've been trying to pursue?
You don't have it for the reasons you told yourself.
You're not meant to be in one spot forever - you can actually go get that new career and all the money that comes with that!
This isn't some quick fix or wild brain hack...
It's just simply a better approach to manifesting all of your desires and dreams that you've been struggling to achieve for the longest time.
When I learned these key principles, it was as if a dark shadow had left my body.

Now let's learn the principles of Manifestation.
The Law of Attraction
This is the simplest of the principles to understand.
This law states that everything that you do, can be, or will do is a result of what you attract.
And you attract what you spend more time thinking about, doing, or believing.
It's such a simple way of saying, "you are what you think you are."
If you continue to think that you are a fearful, anxious person, chances are that you will continue to attract events and other people who are scary and make you feel anxious.
However, if you flip this on its head, and you begin to think that you are a confident, bold person, chances are that you will act as a magnet for confident people and quell this sense of anxiety.
When I was younger, I was a really shy individual and always wondered why I didn't have too many close friends.
I was envious of the more 'popular' kids at school because I wanted that kind of friendship.
In one aspect, it's totally okay to be shy and introverted! There's nothing wrong with that.
If, however you do suffer from loneliness like I did or simply want to cultivate a new community of friends, you need to start acting like you mean it.
In order for others to take you seriously, you need to start taking yourself seriously.
Within the Reiki paradigm, the Law of Attraction also applies.
Let's say that you're with a client or friend who you're trying to heal and that you're having a tough time channeling the energy necessary to a specific part.
You start getting frustrated and sweating because you're afraid that the other person will notice that something isn't going right.
Because of this fear, you make more mistakes and it ultimately doesn't go well.
I've been there before...and after learning The Law of Attraction, I've learned why I need be more confident in my work.
Even if it is unfounded, by forcing yourself to become who you want to be, you shed the past self that was once there before.
It's another way of saying, "fake it until you make it", and the existing research proves that this is a beneficial process to becoming who you want to be.
In Reiki, we do this by following the Five Principles of Reiki as expounded by Dr. Mikao Usui.
I won't get too deep into it, but remember that each of the Five Principles starts with, "Just for today..."
Of course, you want to be able to practice Reiki everyday.
But by focusing on the practice one day at a time...
you strengthen your resolve one little bit at a time.
So saying "just for today" is a way for you to understand that you need to take little steps at a time.
When you look back, you'll be surprised at how far you've come!
The Law of Attraction works the exact same way.
It'll absolutely blow your mind.

Through my research, I've developed the following practices and routines you can use to help bolster this Law of Attraction.
Now, I don't claim to have created these ideas (I think they've existed way before we've even existed) but the large majority of them are inspired by my Reiki practice.
You may seem them in different places under different names and terminology.
The bottom line is that if it helps you, it helps you - and that's my sole purpose being here today.

The Emptiness Exercise
This exercise will sound very similar to meditation, and is in fact, a form of meditation.
However, the way you perform this activity is 30% about technique and 70% about when you choose to do it.
I recommend that the Emptiness Exercise be performed in the morning time either before or right after you eat breakfast.
This will help you achieve your first 'win' in the day and set you up for success to manifest who you want to become or achieve.
Start by finding a comfortable spot on your couch, chair, or floor.
With your hands in a cupped position, cross your legs and close your eyes.
Begin to imagine a ball of energy swirling in the palms of your hands.
If this is difficult for you, substitute the energy for something physical, like a small ball or round object.
Then, while maintaining this image, carefully breathe in to the count of 4, and breathe out to the count of 4.
Begin thinking about what you want to accomplish in the day. Don't go for statements like, "I just want to..." or "It'd be nice if..."
Think as though you have complete and utter control over your life.
Complete the following statements to yourself, "I, (your name), will accomplish..." or, "I, (your name), will finish..."
Repeat these to yourself over and over again. Drown out the doubt by repeating it louder and louder.
Observe your thoughts as they become more focused on this sole mission and objective.
Spend about 5 minutes in this place, and continue with your day.
If you feel different, you've succeeded - but if you feel as though it didn't work, I advise you to try this exercise for at least 20 days straight to see some beneficial effect.

The Engagement Channeling
This technique was deeply inspired by Dr. Mikao Usui and is part of the reason why I've seen so much success with Manifestation.
To use this technique, you need to have a fair understanding of the Chakras and fundamental baseline of knowledge in Reiki.
If you don't or are completely new, please read this article here.
Otherwise, please continue reading.
Now, be warned - this technique is especially intense.
Even for me, having practiced Reiki for so long, I still feel moments where I get dizzy. I usually attribute this to the fact that the amount of energy increases every single time I use it.
That being said, it is great for beginners as well who want to perform at their highest level.
Start by standing with your legs shoulder-width apart, knees locked.
Bring your arms straight to your side and reach up overhead.
Take a deep breath in, and exhale out while your hands are outstretched above your head.
Bend over in the front and reach as low as you can. Don't worry if you can't touch your toes yet.
Place your hands on your knees and, while keeping them pressed against your body, slowly stand back up straight and reach overhead after you reach your shoulders.
As you bend over, breathe in...
...and as you stand up, breathe out.
After several breathes, begin to go through your morning list of things to do.
An example could read like:
- Make breakfast
- Drink a lot of water
- Go to work
- Make that call
- Send out the highest priority of e-mails
Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be. A simple list is just fine.
Then, repeat this list outloud to internalize that you will do them.
Repeat each phrase at least 6 times - when you are ready here, begin to state how you will do them and how you will feel after accomplishing them while maintaining the motion.
Referring to our past example, it could read like:
- A hearty breakfast of two eggs, a grilled sandwich with chicken, and spinach will make me feel ready to tackle the day
- Drinking 8 oz of water straight in the morning will energize me for the day ahead
- Going to work is a way for me to continue taking care of myself and will help me achieve my goals
- That call with a potential client will act as a way for me to develop my ability and I will leave it feeling blessed
- I will send out those e-mails in 10 minutes and it will feel as though a weight has left my shoulders
Now, that may seem a bit wordy, but this is part of the Engagement process.
You want to know how exactly you will achieve your action plan...
...and most importantly, how you will FEEL while carrying it out.
The physical motion allows you to generate the momentum necessary to get this psychological win.
Keep in mind that these exercises can also be done at any point during the day.
As long as you have things or action items you can do afterwards, you can use these techniques and exercises to help you begin the process of Manifestation.
