How To Strengthen Your Mind With Reiki
Reiki is known as a healing practice and art for emotional and physical pain.
Many people use it to heal things like their emotional trauma, relationships, or even physical pain in the leg, chest, or neck.
It's worked wonders for me over the last ten years and for the many students that I've taught.
However, there is one benefit that people seem to forget about Reiki...
...you probably didn't know that Reiki is also great for strengthening your mind!
It's one of the often understated qualities about Reiki.
You see, although Universal Energy is a healing force...it can also be used as a strengthening one.
Think about it: this power that surrounds us gives us energy and light.
You see, I think that Reiki can be used for defensive purposes like:
- Creating Psychic Shields
- Performing Psychic Surgery
- Healing the Heart Chakra
and much, much more.
However, you can also use Reiki for other purposes, such as:
- Developing Uncompromising Ability
- Reading Other People's Minds
- Accessing the Higher Realms
For some reason, many Reiki Masters don't want to share this with you.
They want to keep you healing pains that you may not even have...just because they want you to stay with them.
You might be thinking, "That's wild! Why would anyone do such a thing?"
The easy answer is that they were taught that way too...
Let me explain.
As a Reiki Master, I had to go through years of arduous training in order to reach the point where I am today.
I spent years learning...studying...practicing...and had to progress extremely slow because one of my teachers told me that, "that's the way it is."
I realized that many other people were being taught this way too.
They keep 'secrets' because they want to keep certain things 'sacred'...or so they would have you believe.
Contrary to this popular belief, I think it's important to make Reiki as accessible as possible to as many people as you possibly can.
For me, my mission is to give you as much helpful information as I possibly can so that you can create your own journey...
...and that includes teaching you how to use Reiki for advantageous purposes!
In this blog article, I'm going to show you several techniques that you can use to strengthen your mind with Reiki and how they work.
All of these techniques are ones that I use and have worked like a charm over the ages when I need a mental boost for work or starting a new project.
First, we'll learn the "Mind Bender".
This technique is one of my absolute favorites to use.
I use it for a quick pick-me-up when I'm going heavy into my writing or when I need to pass a certain limitation that's held inside my head.
It works by expanding your Crown and Third Eye Chakras to allow more energy to seep and pass through.
Doing this supercharges your brain and metal capacity...to the point where it feels like reality is bending!
Now remember to practice the entire technique safely, as you may seriously injure yourself if you do this unsupervised or without someone quality trained nearby.
Take it slow, and you'll be okay.
Here's how to do the "Mind Bender" Technique:
Take your hands and hold them up to the side of your head.
Close your eyes and look straight ahead.
Don't look at the ground, the sky, or me - look straight ahead.
Keeping your body square in line with the front, close your eyes and imagine two beams of light shooting down from the sky into your hands.
After about 2-4 minutes, gently massage the energy into your scalp as if you were showering.
Feel the energy from the Universal Energy charge your hair and seep into your mind.
After about 2-3 minutes, allow your hands to rest.
Let the energy from your hands emanate back into the Universe.
If you cannot sense the energy sensations coming from your head, repeat this exercise until you do.
You should feel a sense of 'opening' or mental clarity around the top of your skull and the middle of your eyebrows.
Use this technique as much as possible to practice and get better!
Next, we'll learn the 'Mental Arrow'...
The Mental Arrow is a great exercise for when you need to get stuff done and need to focus extremely hard.
This technique is the equivalent of having two cups of coffee...except much healthier for your energetic and physical body symptoms.
However, just like coffee, you want to use this technique in moderation.
Using it too often could lead to acclimation, which means that the effect will wear off sooner the more often that you replicate this exercise.
I suggest doing this first thing in the morning 2 or 3 times a week as a start in order to get used to the new focus that you'll probably have.
To do the Mental Arrow, choose whether to lie down or sit up. Either is fine, as the technique focuses primarily on what happens inside vs. outside.
Close your eyes, and visualize an arrow coming from your head.
It's some kind of color and is spinning in place, ready to lock down and fly.
Imagine that you're standing in a field, and that you all you want to do is let the arrow go as far as possible.
Take your first two fingers (index and middle finger) and hold it up to your forehead, as if you were pushing a button to let the arrow go.
Breathe deeply in for 3 breaths.
On the last breath, exhale completely, and allow the arrow to follow through.
Follow the path of the arrow until you can no longer see it.
Take several more deep breaths.
You can open your eyes after this process is completed.
Give it several moments - after a while, you should feel an increased sense of focus and drive.
Use it to your advantage!
The last technique we'll cover is the Reiki Breathing exercise...
If you don't already know, I am a huge purveyor of breath work.
I think there's a lot of breathwork that needs to be done across the world, but people don't know about what it is or how it's beneficial!
If you already do, you're on the right track.
This technique comes from part of a previous article that I once wrote called, "Reiki Breathing."
What you want to do is begin by only breathing through the nose, not the mouth.
The nose can warm up the air before it reaches your nose and allows the air to go down warm instead of super uncomfortable.
After you begin breathing through the nose, follow these steps:
Breath in to the count of 4...
...hold for 4 seconds...and retract your breath back on a 4 count.
Think of each breath as an energy bubble grows larger the more you hold it inside your body.
Do this for 5 minutes...
...and on your last breath, exhale everything out as much as you can.
You might feel a little light-headed so approach this exercise with caution.
Doing this on a regular basis will help with your fitness and weight loss goals.
However, you must do them - if you don't, then they'll never change...
