The 6 Things To Master In Your Life

Header Mastery of Life

We are faced with distraction every second of the day.

Things both in and out of our control seek to challenge, manage, and even steal our precious time and energy…

…two of the arguably most important assets of our life.

When things feel as though they’re spiraling out of control, I like to examine the following 6 things in my life to see where I’ve lost track.

Doing this before setting up a healing session can be extremely valuable…

(If you’re interested in healing, I have a full body healing session that you can use that will likely solve this problem in an instant. Hundreds have said it’s one of their favorites from my collection. You can find out more about it here: www.reikiinfinitehealer.com/lp/full-body-healing-session/)

I call it ‘The 6-Point Recalibration’ to examine six of the most important things you should master in your life (asides from Reiki and energy healing).

The 6-Point Recalibration

Many healers ignore these aspects of their life because they hold their practice to such a high regard and swear by it…

…however, this can be extremely detrimental to your Lifeforce Energy, as you’ll need to engage in healing sessions over and over again to replenish your drained energy.

Think about it – if you don’t pay attention to these certain areas of your life, you’re wasting energy because they’re eating up your energy at an extremely quick pace…

No matter how many healing sessions you do or go to, it won’t replace the fact that you’re using up more than you have at a quicker pace.

The better thing to do? Master and limit the most common energy absorbing areas of your life.

In this way, you’ll be able to manage the negativity of your life and enhance:

  • Your connection to the world
  • The power of your healing
  • Your relationships with your loved ones and significant other
  • Your physical body’s health

The following 6 points are ones that I use whenever I feel as though I am stuck in a rut or using up too much of my energy.

Each of the following points may vary in terms of importance to you over time. What may have been important to you 10 years ago may no longer be relevant – that’s okay.

Our energies change, and we shouldn’t have to remain a certain way when we outgrow certain periods of our life.

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing my 6 Point Recalibration with you and certain things you can do to prevent and/or manage energy absorption.

Ready? Let’s go…

1. Mental Energy Drainage

We use our brains a lot each and every day, which can become extremely exhausting.

Thinking, making decisions, maintaining relationships – all of this consumes energy.

The last thing you need to do is consume more energy, yet sadly, most people try to ‘think’ their way out of a problem instead of letting themselves restore their mind.

However, this is the simplest method you can use to restore your energy – and it is by far the most effective.

If you’ve been following RIH for a while now, you know that outside of Reiki, I am a big fan of meditation since it does wonders.

Some meditations are used for healing – but this specific meditation is one that you should use before you start the day.

Start the day with meditation

It will prepare your energy state to be ready for the oncoming events that seek to throw you off balance.

This meditation is what I call ‘Invoking The Eternal.’

Practice this every morning for at least 5 minutes.

Sit comfortably, preferably with your back straight.

With each inhale, breath as if you are soaking up the day ahead. As you exhale, breathe out the day behind.

After this warmup, continue as follows…

As you inhale, repeat to yourself, “My energy is enough; I am capable of all things.”

As you exhale, repeat to yourself, “Yesterday is gone; I have only today.”

Keep doing this until it becomes second nature…

In this moment, once you have reached a state of awareness in your breath, think about all of your energy rolled up into a ball and visualize it pushing through the top of the skull all the way to the Root Chakra.

This will prepare you for the day.

2. Physical Energy Degradation

If your physical health is being depleted, it’s most likely because your body does not know how to metabolize energy in the most efficient way.

Without getting too deep into the science here, the single most effective way to train your body is to engage in physical activity.

For many, it can be difficult to squeeze in physical activity, but even as little as 10 minutes a day has shown to be tremendously effective. (+ if you really can’t do 10 minutes, you need to reorganize the other areas of your life.)

I recommend low-intensity activity to start. Exercise and getting in shape is tremendously popular, but I encourage you to exercise primarily as a way to cleanse/maintain your Chakras and energy.

It’s no surprise that exercise can have great benefits for your physical health, but remember that your body is a vessel for energy to flow in and out of you.

Flexibility of the mind

There are plenty of exercises and training regimens that you can do – from strength training to water aerobics, pick one that you enjoy the most and stick with it.

As far as we can ‘experience’, we only have one body, so it makes sense to take care of it. If you want something that channels energy into frequent trouble areas, try this exercise regimen I do at least 3 times a week.

Exercise routine

  • 3 sets of 15 bodyweight wide squats
  • 3 sets of 15 bodyweight split squats
  • 3 sets of 20 second plank holds

You can even try this workout if you feel that this may be too much:

I often start my day like this after meditating to really get a boost going.

3. Diet & Nutrition

In addition to exercise, you must be taking in a healthy amount of food each week.

If not, the energy released into your body by what you eat can have deleterious effects.

Remember that your diet consists of things both inclusive and exclusive of food – but if you don’t have a good foundation with food, then you may be struggling with other harmful energies…

…because each and every bite we take has a certain amount of energy in it.

Some foods like quinoa and brown rice have a low-glycemic index and promote better organ productivity, whereas others spike your insulin levels and create harm. All foods have a certain energy that corresponds to a Chakra. For example…

Pomegranates are great for the sacral and root chakras, whereas broccoli and spinach are great for the Heart. It makes intuitive sense once you get to know them a bit better.

Remember that energy in food also corresponds to the season as well…

…so depending on your geographical location, you may want to begin eating seasonally in order to invoke the most energy and get the most out of what you’re eating.

Your food is important to your chakras

Now, I’m not a dietician or nutritionist so you may want to consult with someone before constructing a diet plan.

And if you’re taking vitamins, be careful of what you are taking and how much you are consuming.

Many of my former students and visitors ask me whether I take any, and while I do take some supplements here and there, I try to keep them as low as possible since they are ‘supplements’ to my diet and not meant to actively replace anything that I should already be eating.

Here’s a trick: follow the food through your body once you swallow it. This will encourage you to eat slower and concentrate on releasing the energy in your food to permeate through the body.

You don’t have to do this for every meal, but simply being more aware of the food as it passes through your body from start to finish will allow you to create a deeper connection with your food.

4. Hygienic Issues

Is your hygiene costing you?

I can almost guarantee that if I know your hygienic habits, I know the color of your Aura

Just as we cleanse our Aura, Chakras, and energy flow, so must we cleanse our skin, teeth, and hair as well.

It’s unfortunate to say that many people do not have good hygienic practices…

…so their energies and health suffer.

Whenever I have clients come in with a murky Aura, one of my first guesses is that their hygienic habits changed as a result of some sort of stimuli.

Maintain order

Typically speaking, this analysis is true.

Remedy: Do your best to maintain a solid hygienic routine every day. Find pH-balanced or alkali balanced products like soap or shampoo that will maintain the balance of your skin.

Unless you have skin problems or issues, generally speaking, our skin has a natural acid mantle that already works to prevents infection. If you use products that work against that protection, you will be working against your body instead of with it.

Likewise, you want to use alkali products for your hair. Use natural, hypoallergenic, and nontoxic shampoos whenever possible.

5. Rest Deficiency

Everyone has a different rest schedule…but make no mistake – we all need to rest.

If we don’t take the time to listen to our bodies, our energy can stagnate or leave us completely…

Some people prefer long hours of constant sleep, whereas others prefer to sleep in polyphasic schedules where they take consistent naps throughout the day.

Since every person’s body responds to certain stimuli differently, its most important to listen to your body instead of trying to rewire it to a completely different schedule.

Rest well

Most doctors recommend getting at least 7-9 hours of sleep a day, which can sometimes seem impossible…

…but what I recommend is making sleep a priority.

In this way, you force yourself to restore your used energy. The biggest benefit?

You’ll feel extra boosted and recharged.

6. Personal Goal Fulfillment

This is the last, and perhaps most important.

Everyone has things they have always wanted to do…

…but maybe they’ve put it off or assume that ‘it’s not the right time’.

I hear this all the time – but this is absolutely the wrong assumption.

As a result of their negative thoughts, their Aura is cluttered and not as ‘radiant’ as it should be.

Now, only you know whether you’re being honest to yourself…but the facts don’t lie.

As long as you keep denying yourself what you want, your energy will always suffer.

“But Dave, what I want seems impossible…what do I do?”

If you or someone you know has asked this question, here’s my response: make a plan to see exactly what would need to happen in order for it to come true.

For starters, your mind is responding to the signals your energy is sending to you…

…often times, it is your deepest inner longing, or that which you want to do more than anything, is precisely what you have come into this life to explore.

Love yourself

Your best assurance of health is to do it. Make a plan, explore what it would take to happen, and begin.

Even if it takes a long time to get there, if you don’t start out on the journey, you won’t reach the goal. If you do and continue to walk toward it, you will. Your inner guidance will guarantee it.

These are just some of the things that I’d like you to take with you as you continue your energy healing journey.

More than anything, remember that your life is yours alone to live…

…and that your calling requires your devotion and conviction to follow it through. Your Life Task, ultimately, is up to you to make it happen.

Whether you’ve been struggling with anxiety your whole life…suffer from a debilitating genetic disease, or simply want to become a Reiki Healer…

…it is possible to achieve it. Now is the time – what’s your next move?
